Code selector

Scheduling in Rostar CAS is done with special, extremely versatile and flexible, adaptable selection windows – the so-called code selectors. The code selector is more than just a selection window. It is an intelligent tool that provides the planner with assistance and an overview.

Auto selection

One of the most popular features of the code selector is auto selection. For example, for a particular task you specify requirements that employees have to meet to be able to perform that task. The code selector will then show only those persons who are eligible to perform that task.

The code selector can display many different characteristics of the persons. You can also group and sort persons. You can adapt the appearance of the code selector so that it suits your own needs. Here is an example of a code selector for scheduling individuals. You see the telephone number and the education of the employees. The last column, on which the code selector is sorted, shows how many contract hours have yet to be allocated to the employee.

There are different code selectors for different schedules. This is an example of a code selector with which the planner can schedule a task for a person:

You can see that there is a start time and finish time displayed for the tasks. The tasks are also grouped per department.
