Web Access Module
The Web Access Module offers you the possibility to view or modify the schedule via the web, from any random location. If a user wants to change something, he/she submits a request, for example for a day off. The requests must first be approved by the planner.
The Web Access Module has two variants:
- Web Access Module Individual
- Web Access Module Group Schedule
Web Access Module Individual
Using this variant of the Web Access Module, employees can view and manage various elements in their individual schedule, from any location, even from home, if necessary:
- Viewing one’s own schedule
- Submitting different kinds of requests:
• Days off
• Holiday
• Reporting sick
• Availability/indicating preferences
• Specifying the actual number of hours worked (the traditional ‘timesheet’ is now redundant)
Employee Hans can specify via internet which days of the week he would prefer to work and on which days he would rather not work. Every employee who has sufficient privileges can modify the availability via internet.
Finalising the requests
In Rostar CAS, planners can see the requests coming in that a user submits via the web. They can process the requests by approving or rejecting them, which is visible for the employees via the web. Additionally, while the planner is processing a request, he/she can send an e-mail to the relevant employee containing the result and any comments. After approval, the data are included in the schedule.
In other words: a gigantic saving of time and money.
Employee Hans can view his own schedule via the 'View, Schedule’ ('Inzien, Rooster'). The fact that he is scheduled to work on Thursday 1 November the whole day in the warehouse is visible. On Friday morning, he also works in the warehouse and on Friday afternoon he has a compulsory half day off from 13:30. The information that Hans is allowed to see can be defined in Rostar CAS.
Web Access Module Group Schedule
This module offers the same features as the Web Access Module Individual, but also makes it possible, amongst other things, to view the schedule of your own department or shift. Employees can, for example, see who they can exchange a shift with, and when they can ask for a day off without causing any problems, all without any intervention on the part of the planner. This module is also extremely suitable for team managers/shift leaders.
Give your customers more insight as well
You can give your customers access via internet so that they can see the status of their assignments or pass on new assignments. The latter also happens via requests. For example, for the temporary employment sector this is very practical: you as temporary employment agency give your client the possibility to gain an insight into the status of the assignments that you have agreed with him.
Via internet, customer Vos looks up for how many people he has given an assignment on November 5. He has given an assignment for 1 person for Security Day and 3 people for Warehouse.
Authorisation
You can specify in detail what a Web user is allowed to view or modify and what not. For example, for each group of users, you can specify which requests are allowed to be made. If necessary, the Authorisation Module can be used for this.
